About
Millicent Miereanu is an actress, playwright and singer based in Los Angeles, CA. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, she has been acting since childhood.
Miereanu recently made her animation debut in THE KING OF KINGS after building an acting foundation anchored in well-received independent films and a multitude of stage productions in both New York and Los Angeles. The William Esper Studios alum made her off-Broadway debut with a one-woman show entitled My Tendaberry Friend – a love letter to odd jobs, Laura Nyro and New York City – at New York’s famed cabaret lounge, The Duplex. She followed that SRO performance by writing, producing and starring in a sold out run of "They’re All Going to Laugh at You" in Los Angeles, as well as "What Happened on Monday" and the critically lauded comedy "My Mom, My Dad and the TV News." Classically trained as a singer at both the Colburn School in Los Angeles and the prestigious Wolf Studios in New York City, Miereanu has performed in countless productions, notably "Cabaret" in the Trentino Valley Music Festival and "Holy Pepperoni," a beloved children's web series. Miereanu and her writing partner, Emily Woods, founded the independent theater company “Embarrassing Productions” in 2023, which has already presented several acclaimed small theater performances on the Los Angeles circuit.
